CEO MESSAGE

Hello to all of you who will graduate in 2025! I am sure that you are all feeling a mixture of excitement about the future and anxiety about the unknown as you choose your first company to work for. I spent my childhood during the high-growth period when solving pollution was a social issue. In retrospect, this was my original experience that led me to want to create an environment where pollution did not occur, so I chose a university that had a department that dealt with environmental issues.

Ever since I became president, I have always said that I wanted to make EBARA "a company that takes on new challenges" and I have implemented several measures to realize this. For example, we have held an in-house competition for new businesses. What was born from this competition is our current efforts in aerospace, including the development of fuel turbo-pumps for rocket engines. I'm looking forward to seeing many more exciting new business ideas and initiatives from our enthusiastic members in the future.

In order to make it easier to come up with new ideas, we have been conducting a campaign to call each other without job title in order to change the company into one where all employees can proactively share information and express their opinions. I have also been addressed as "Asami-san" by all employees, both in calls and e-mails.

In addition, to "promote the success of human resources," one of the important issues of E-Vision 2030, we are providing learning opportunities to those who are willing to learn and strengthening human resource development. We believe that people are assets, and we encourage each and every one of them to take on new challenges.

Finally, I would like to introduce the founding spirit that has been passed down through the generations in the EBARA Group to those of you who are about to take off into society. The founder Issey Hatakeyama's motto was "Enthusiasm and Sincerity. He said, "Do not just do the work given to you, but tackle it with originality and ingenuity, and work with a mind to accomplish it with sincerity and integrity. It also means that if you treat people with enthusiasm and sincerity in everything you do, they will never fail to understand you.

I look forward to seeing many of you who have a venture mindset and are eager to take on new challenges join our ranks.

  • Even remote participants actively joined the event while feeling the presence of all the attending students.
  • President Asami (we call him Mike in English), participated in an avatar wearing an aloha shirt. at metaverse job offer ceremony.
